Mission of Blackhawk Tango

To promote Argentine tango to members of local communities in the East Bay and to expand  awareness of Argentine tango to anyone anywhere regardless of boundaries.

Approach

Monthly 1st Sunday Afternoon Outdoor Milongas - Next Event Sunday June 2nd, class and performance by Eva Garlez y Pablo Rodriguez

A one-of-a-kind semi outdoor milonga for all tastes, including classes for beginners and Int students, and solid tango for experienced dancers, offering traditional five piece orchestral music, traditional DJ music, as well as a touch of new tango.

These are held every first Sunday afternoon at the elegant Blackhawk Plaza Rotunda with  live music by Redwood Tango Ensemble  http://www.redwoodtango.com 
and DJ music between sets.
